God provides for the ministry of our St. John’s UCC through your tithes and offerings, and your gifts of time are honored with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and accountability to our congregation and to the United Church of Christ. It’s about gratitude to God and dedicating what we can share for God’s purposes through the transformative power of the Gospel in our region and beyond.

In addition to tithing, there are so many other ways to give by sharing your talent and love of God.
OUR GOAL IS giving to the mission and ministries of St. John’s UCC.
That might mean giving your time to childcare during worship service, singing in the choir or playing an instrument in the band, helping with our many events (Rally Sunday, Turkey Dinner, Bunco night, Annual Garage sale, etc), donating cookies or treats for our coffee and conversation time, holding the door for other’s, giving a smile, before or after assembly of our Sunday services, being a mentor, running a ministry. What you give should be decided between you and God with a grateful heart.
Prayerfully consider:
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
